The short version
I'm Chris Hall. I'm a professional guitarist, songwriter, and tutor based in Raskelf, North Yorkshire. I studied at BIMM (Brighton Institute of Modern Music) in partnership with the University of Sussex, and have spent over 25 years playing guitar with real music industry experience.
Over that time, I've worked both in the studio and on the road, contributing to a UK Top 10 album, recording at studios including Abbey Road in London and NRG in Los Angeles, and performing at festivals such as Reading & Leeds and South by Southwest (Austin, Texas). I've also supported major artists on tour, including The Kooks, and spent several years performing, recording and touring with indie-pop band Fickle Friends.
Now I teach. Lessons are built around what you actually want to play — not a fixed syllabus. Whether you're starting from scratch or chasing something specific, we'll find the fastest route to it.
