Life happens.Here's how it works.

The short, honest version of how cancellations and reschedules are handled — written the way I'd explain it to you in person, not in legalese.

The house rules

Cancellations, in plain English

Plans change, and life gets in the way — I get it. So here’s exactly how I handle lesson cancellations and reschedules, so we both always know where we stand.

  1. More than 24 hours notice

No charge. Let me know by email or text and we’ll pick a new time that works, usually within the same week.

  2. Less than 24 hours notice

The lesson is charged in full. I’ll always try to offer a reschedule within the same week if a slot’s free, but I can’t guarantee it.

  3. Illness, emergencies & genuine surprises

I’d rather you rested and came back sharp than pushed through a bad day. Message me as soon as you know and we’ll find a way to make it work, no-charge in most cases.

  4. If I need to cancel

If I have to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you’ll get the lesson back at no cost, either rescheduled within the same week, or credited to your next block.

  5. No-shows

If I don’t hear from you and you miss the lesson, it’s charged in full.

One more thing

I’d always rather have the conversation than enforce a rule rigidly.

Got a question about any of this? Email me at chris@chrishallguitar.com and we’ll sort it out.
